About JICA Alumni Association 1. Outline of JICA Alumni Association In 1954, Japan began accepting overseas technical participants, and by now, the number of participants accepted under JICA programs had exceeded 160,000. In Georgia association formed in 30th of May 2007year. Name of association is “JICA Alumni Association of Georgia”. Alumni associations have been voluntarily formed by former participants of JICA programs. They are Mr. Archili Tkeshelashvili, Mr. Zodiko Farkosadze, Mr. Vakhtang Farcxaladze, Mr. Irakli Jeiranashvili, Miss Ana Abuladze; President of association is Mr. Archil Tkeshelashvili Alumni association concentrated on activities conducive to strengthening friendship with Japan and amongst their members, for learning more about the Japan and there culture, traditions, about there interests. Essentially “JICA Alumni Association of Georgia” members are persons who was visited Japan by “JICA” programs and was participated in some programs and seminars organized by “JICA”. Activity
